Since March 2023, international students take the fully digital version of the SAT. Instead of the traditional paper-based format, the test is completed on a computer using an official digital application that candidates install in advance, while the exam itself is still taken at a test center.

The test consists of two main sections: Reading and Writing, and Math. The maximum possible score is 1600.
